Latest headlines!
The Bazaar is closed for 2009 and will reopen
Thanksgiving 2010.
The staff of the Third World Bazaar want to thank all who attended
and helped to make the 2009 Bazaar a success. We enjoyed ourselves
and hope attending did as well.
A special thanks to all who contributed to the various fundraising
activities we operated this year:
All who bought hot coffee contributed to
Chris Tessier’s work with Habitat for Humanity in El Salvador.
He was able to raise over $1500 from his efforts at the Bazaar.
We were able to collect 8 shopping carts of food for the Shepherd’s
of Good Hope. The needy of Ottawa thank all who contributed.
We were able to raise $2,763.89 from our patrons for Médecins Sans
Frontières / Doctors Without Borders. This has been matched by the
owners of Third World Bazaar, making a total contribution of
$5,527.78 towards the wonderful of MSF.
Thank you to all who contributed.
We are now taking a short break to rejuvenate and give thanks,
before we begin our purchases for 2010.
We hope everyone has a good winter and we look forward to seeing you
next season.
